Vince Zampella, Dies in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
