Loyal followers of the actress are calling for that a person who breached a fence and touched the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating footage shows the Australian man pushing past camera operators and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was due to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed features clips of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last year.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Voice Worry Over Ariana's Safety

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented one more response on Instagram.

Several supporters also criticised event staff at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while some called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was grabbed by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Many of Singapore attendees had queued up to see the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had gathered in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore mall, including a number who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-part interpretation of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the unexpected relationship between two distinct sorceresses.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, winning two for best costume and set decoration.
