The creators Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are wrapping up on their humorous show about a tight-knit bunch of endearing rogues causing chaos in a countryside town in Lancashire. You might expect the finale to be a greatest hits victory lap of booze, drugs and cheeky thievery. But, the vibes are distinctly darker as the character Vinnie, played by Gilgun and the gang hole up in a pub with criminal figure Davey MacDonagh for a climactic 50th episode seemingly influenced by Quentin Tarantino.
