After quite some time of rumors, the BR mode for Battlefield 6 is at last launching. The latest rumors indicating its debut would align with Season 1 were accurate. Fans can access the gameplay starting in just a day.

The New Season Introducing a New Map, Mode, and Weapons

Together with the battle royale release, Season 1 is also kicking off. It introduces a new map, a fresh game type, and fresh guns. Additionally, Redsec is arriving. A embedded trailer will be released at go-live, giving fans a glimpse of what's to come.

Free-to-Play Model Enables Redsec Accessible to Everyone

Possibly the most significant news is that Battlefield Redsec will be free-to-play. Much like established offerings, you don't have to own the original Battlefield 6 to participate. A number of gamers have already experienced alpha versions of the experience. Those playtests were conducted in Battlefield Labs, which the developers described as their most ambitious player partnership initiative.
